Bronze Inkwell XIX Signed Rambaud Founder Süßes Brothers On Marble Base

  

Very nice inkwell of the nineteenth century gilt bronze resting on an imposing marble base. The inkwell is decorated with plant motifs. The cover is decorated with a beautiful seashell sculpture.

You can read the signature of the sculptor rambaud j. And refiner knewest fres and the number 33. The marble base has 4 units for pen holders and rests on four round feet.
