Rare abstract sculpture, "space age" by designer and visual artist Paola Martelli (1931 -), Italy, circa 1970. Typical of her creations from this period (refer to the photos of the reference book of her works), which were notably used in the creation of jewelry! A large, high-quality piece that changes depending on the viewer's perspective, in line with the works of Italian artists of the so-called "optical art" era. Hand-signed in cursive engraving at the base of the sculpture, in bronze.

Probably a unique piece, not numbered and without a foundry mark. No notable defects to report. Natural patina on the bronze parts, no oxidation, with rare abrasions and no excessive scratches. Original base, angles and edges preserved. Weight without solid and secure packaging: 2.890 kg.
